Best Option Restoration:

I was introduced to Best Option Restoration through my insurance company. I ended up not going through insurance but still chose to utilize their services because in the beginning they were very helpful and responsive. I booked the dates for the work a month in advance to make sure it worked with my schedule as I have pets and 2 people that work from home in my house. I was working with a woman named Annie who decided to stop returning my texts and phone calls at this point. I received a call the night before the work was to be started from someone at the company I have never spoken to asking what work needed to be done. This caught me completely off guard considering their team came out to evaluate what needed to be done and there was a whole report sent to me with pricing based on what materials were needed and labor. I was told another walkthrough will be needed but not to worry, that the work will still be completed in the 2 days we had scheduled. They came to see what work needed to be done, again, and told me the contractors will be back at 1pm to begin the job, it will dry overnight and they will be back tomorrow to finish. They never showed up or called me. Day 2 comes and they arrived to start the job, at the end of the day they said we will be back tomorrow to finish. I was confused because I was ensured it would only take 2 days to complete, but I moved my schedule around again to accommodate. They no call, no showed again. At this point, no one is answering my calls or texts and I keep calling the owner, Mike, who was the only person helping me. Finally, at 4pm after waiting all day for them to arrive, I’m told they are not coming and now three days are needed for the wall to dry before they can finish. I’m unclear when this change was made because we always only had 2 days scheduled for the work to be started and finished. The work is finally done and looks fine, they got white specks everywhere but I was able to get most of it off my walls. This was a very small job, I can only imagine the nightmare of communication if I was getting something bigger done. Basically, if you don’t want to waste your time and money, use someone else.
